Chicago - based in New York The DDG-based partners will unveil plans for a $1.5 billion, 1,500-room hotel in the heart of Chicago's Lincoln Park, which is due to be built in July, according to a news release.
French architect Jean-Paul Viguier designed the glass prism hotel to offer a "Gold Coast" address that would allow access to the Chicago River and the shores of Lake Michigan and the Illinois River. French architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, internationally known for his design of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City, designed a 1,500-room hotel in the heart of Manhattan's Upper West Side and a 2,000-room, 1.5 million-square-foot apartment building in Manhattan.
On the north side is charming Andersonville, which is also trendy, and the children's pavilion is on the north side of Lake Michigan, just a few blocks from the hotel. Chicago Lakeshore Hospital is conveniently located at 4840 North Marine Drive; the city of Chicago is also located in what is called a very important water gap.
